Welcome to Advertising Made Easy. If you are super busy during the summer months, you should not slow down on your advertising. Today I wanted to expand on why.

Today I’m going to provide a few things you can do this summer that will help now but also help business during the slow months, & how you can take it to the next step and connect it to your social media advertising.

Sponsor Local Summer Activities

-Between the holidays, kid sports & county fairs, every community has some kind of summer festival.

-Sponsor something! It’s usually cheaper than you think.

-When you sponsor an activity, they put your name in the advertisement for the event.

-Having your name/logo show with a local event will not only get your name in front of potential customers, it shows that you are also local & committed to supporting your community.

To take it to the next step by sharing the event on your social media accounts, it will not only show people online that you are involved with the community, it will advertise the event as well, bringing in more people.

Host a drive-up repair shop

-Find a busy parking lot and as they say “setup shop”.

-Offer a quick cash repair for anyone that needs it, making sure each one leaves with a card or NOVUS band aids.

-This will not only help the people that got repairs, the ones that didn’t will see your vehicle & signs in the parking lot as they drive by.

-It’s like having a free billboard on the side of the road for hours!

Take it to the next level by offering a free window cleaner to everyone that shares that they stopped by on their social media pages.

Sponsor a booth or float at a local fair

-This is one of the best ways to let people know you are in the community.

-It doesn’t take much to put together either:

-Get a few signs made, get out your pens, and find a small display.

-Just being there in person, talking to people is the important thing.

-It’s been found that if a person can connect a face to a company, they are more likely to feel a personal connection and will be more loyal to that company.

You can take it to the next level by having a drawing of sort, something where people can enter by mentioning you on their social media. Or taking pictures of people that stopped by and thank them on your social media pages.

These are just a few ideas to get you started.  Figure out what is important to your customers and be there.  Being seen in your community will always be the best and cheapest way to advertise any business.

That’s all I have for you today. If you ever have any questions, please feel to reach out.
