In an earlier post, I provided a few generic best practices when creating posts for Facebook. Today I’m going to talk about the best practices used to optimize the text on a Facebook posts.
Here are 3 important things to remember when writing the text for your next post.
~ Get People’s Attention – The average person’s attention span is very short (about 3 seconds short) so say something right away that catches a person’s attention & makes them want to read more. If you don’t, they will quickly move onto the next thing.
~ Facebook is Personal – When on Facebook you are talking to individuals not groups of people so posts should be written like you are having a conversation with a friend, not trying to be a salesman.
~ Use Symbols & Emojis – A 😊 or & sign are great ways to catch people’s eye, which makes them want to stop and read further.
These are just a few ideas to help your text stand out (I have 1,000s).
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
